Donkey sisters painting (inspired by Bronte sisters portrait)

45.00

Faintly reminiscent of the famous Bronte sister portrait (painted by brother Branwell Bronte), this painting features two brown donkeys who look much like my mini donkey, Tru. The crimson dress is meant to resemble a silk gown which Charlotte Bronte wore on her honeymoon.

Watercolor on unbleached cotton muslin fabric. Mounted on a paper mache frame with wire hanger. Measures approximately 5 .5 inches by 7 inches. (13.5 x 17 cm)

One of a kind, original artwork.
