Set of four notecards or greeting cards (blank inside)

12.00

I’m offering these notecards at a reduced price, as they were my first try at having any of my work printed, and the results are not quite what I hoped for. The colors are not as true to the originals as I’d like, and the quality of the printing and product is not what I wish for, either — that said, they are nicer than what you can get at the discount store. And your purchase will help support our animals friends here, like Tru the donkey, and the rescue kittens, and Lilly and Elsa goat.

Four designs:

“Watering the Iris,” featuring a beaver lady. Based on a photograph from a gardening book.

“Under the Wishing Tree,” featuring a rabbit lady and mother hen and chicks beneath a hawthorn or May-tree, which is associated with magic and seen as an emblem of hope. Sometimes called a fairy tree, or wishing tree.

“Bake on Saturday,” featuring a donkey and her kitty companion baking together. The donkey bears a strong resemblance to our girl, Tru, and the kitty looks like my little Rory when she was a kitten. Poppies for peace and remembrance.

“Let’s bake a cake,” featuring a mother and daughter pig baking. The border features lilac, symbolizing the joy of youth; lilies of the valley, for sweetness and purity; and ferns for sincerity, humility, bonds of love, and magic.

Cards measure 4 inches by 6 inches (10 x 15 cm) and come with self-sealing brown Kraft paper envelopes.
